In my free time, I love to work on projects! Some become a part of my daily life, some never see the light of day. Regardless, they are always fun to work on!
BedSide Pi
What happens when you mix a smart watch with a good old table clock? You get BedSide Pi!
This project started as a way to learn about the workings of Raspberry Pi (hence the name), and quickly turned into a full project with it's own companion app on Android.
Currently, BedSide Pi sits next to my bed, faithfully showing time, weather (with alerts), and mirorring notifications from my android phone.

Money Manager BETA
Not another money manager! Well... yes, I made a money manager like every other app developer.
So what makes this app different from others? Exporting! Every finance managing app provide some way to export your transactions but none allow exporting transactions within a timeframe. Getting a CSV of all transactions monthly is important to my finance management, hence this app!
Current State: The way I manage my finances has changed over time, and this app is becoming less and less important in my life, and is thus being phased out.
The UNoffficial WisCard App
What is WisCard you ask? It is UW-Madison's ID/Cash card. So why this app? It followed over from Money Manager BETA; it is a way to see transactions completed through WisCard and export them to desired formats.
Due to the lack of public facing APIs, I had to resort to injecting javascript to WisCard website, and scraping HTML at runtime
Needless to say, WisCard department was not happy with it, and did not grant permission to deploy the app on Play Store. So it's been sitting on the shelf ever since!

The project that started it all!
Imagine this: you are in high school, on first day after winter break, your alarm goes off at 5:30 in the morning. You get ready and reach the busstop at 6:20, and wait, and wait, and wait.... an hour later, your friend calls to tell you that vacations were extended due to extreme cold. Bummer!
This is exactly what happened to me on multiple occasions. My school's preferred way of sending annoucements (SMS) was unreliable at best. This app was built to make announcements more reliable by replacing SMS with push notifications!
